Congratulations to Andrew Doherty on winning the 2016 Northwest Snooker Open beating young Ronan Whyte 2-0 in the final at the Northwest Snooker Club in Letterkeny County Donegal on Sunday the 20th of March.
In the semi-final Ronan played Johnnie Connors (who won the intermediate the day before) and he produced a brilliant display and ran out a comfortable 2-0 winner.
Andrew was up against Sean mc veigh and with the match tied at 1-1 he had a match winning 55 break in the decider.
In the final both had chances but it was Andrew who took them and ran out 2-0 winner.
Congratulations to both players and the Northwest Snooker Club and John Doherty thanked everyone who entered the event.
