Congratulations to birthday boy Charlie Sweeney from Newbridge CYMS who won the 2016 Anthony Quinn memorial on Sunday when he beat John O’Sullivan from the Kilkenny Shed 4-3 in a thrilling final. The two players served up a great final and what a fantastic finish to the Anthony Quinn watched by a crowd of over 40 people.
Charlie Sweeney also won the high break prize with a stunning 130 break.
The Final was brilliantly refereed by John O Boyle and well done to all the players for making the event such a big success again.
