Day 2 of the 2016 EBSA European Under 21 and Under 18 Snooker Championships here in the Haston Hotel in Wroclaw Poland saw all our RIBSA Under 18 players qualify for the knock out stages and we also had great wins for our Under 21 players with a total of 7 victories from 10 matches.
EBSA Under 18 Event
Ross Bulman beat Matei Rosca from Romania 3 frames to 1 and won his group.
Noel Landers was beaten by Jan Van Lierop from the Netherland 3 frames to 1.
Fergal Quinn lost to Isaac Borg from Malta 3 frames to 2 but beat Tudor Popescu from Romania 3 frames to nil to qualify.
Darragh Cusack beat Milos Popovic from Slovakia 3 frames to nil but was beaten by Brian Ochoiski from France 3 frames to nil.

Noel Landers faces Ales Herout from Czech Republic
Fergal Quinn will play Iulian Boiko from Ukraine
Darragh Cusack faces Florian Nüßle from Austria
Ross Bulman is seeded into the last 32 and will play the winner of Daniel Holoyda from Poland or Lewis Tait from Scotland

In the EBSA Under 21 Event
Josh Boileau won again to make it 4 out of 4 and win his group with a 3-2 win over Rhys Thomas from Wales and a 3-0 win over Sybren Sokolowski from Belgium.
Charlie Sweeney had a great 3-0 victory over Marvin Losi from Switzerland and he now will play Kacper Filipiak from Poland at 10am local time in a match to decide who wins the group.
Adam Fitzgerald played his best snooker today and was very unlucky to lose to Mateusz Baranowski from Poland 3 frames to 2 on a re-spot black but the Youghal man fought back to win his third match against Vladislav Romanovski from Belarus which included a 92 break.
PJ Nolan said he was delighted to have all the U-18 players qualifying for the knock outs and all our U-21 players will qualify tomorrow. The Attitude is good and the boys are now focused on Day 3.
