Day 2 of the Home Internationals in the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds was a good day for the Irish under 21 Snooker Team with a 10-2 win over N Ireland and a 6-6 draw against France.
In the N Ireland match it was Stephen Bateman winning 3-0, Aaron Moyles won 2-1, Adam Fitzgerald won 3-0 and Darragh Cusack won 2-1 to get a superb 10 frames to 2 win.
In the French match in the afternoon, Stephen Bateman lost 1-2, Aaron Moyles won 2-1, Adam Fitzgerald lost 1-2 and it was Darragh Cusack winning 2-1 to earn a 6-6 draw.
Team Manager PJ Nolan said that the boys played good today and they are fully focused on playing Scotland at 10am tomorrow morning.
