Stephen Bateman won his fifth straight win when he beat Louis Chand from New Zealand four frames to nil which contained a superb top break of 86.
Josh Boileau also played good to control his opponent to only scoring one point in the entire match when he beat Tudor Munteam from Romania 4 frames to nil with breaks of 56 and 59.
Adam Fitzgerald from Youghal CYMS played a good match today but was beaten by Maor Shalom from Israel 4 frames to 2.
Shane Bates from the 147 Club in Wexford was also beaten by Siyavosh Mozayani from Iran 4 frames to 1 but Bates is looking good to qualify from the groups with three earlier wins.
Aaron Moyles played Tyler Rees from Wales and the Mayo man strated off great opening a two frame lead but his welsh opponent fought back to win the next 4 frames but Aaron is assured of a qualifying place from the groups.
As National Coach I am delighted with the commitment of the players and they are giving it 100%. The players are already focused on their matches on Day 5 which starts at 10am local time.
