Our RIBSA National Coach PJ Nolan announced the RIBSA Junior snooker team for the 2015 Celtic Challenge against Wales. This event features Irish and Welsh Under 14 and Under 16 players and the event will be played on the Saturday the 20th of June in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club In Carlow.
The Irish team captain this year will be Ross Bulman from Youghal CYMS and the Team Managers will be Brendan Cooney from Youghal and James Bateman. The Team Coach will be PJ Nolan.
The Schedule
The Schedule of the day will have all the players to check in with their team manager / coach at 10am in the Ivy Rooms. Team Photos will be done and play will begin at 10.15am with the first of the six planned sessions. All the RIBSA players need to have a white shirt, black pants, bow-tie and their RIBSA waistcoat.
All the matches will contain 2 frames with 1pt for every frame won. Winning team will be the team with the most points and they will win the 2015 Celtic Challenge Cup.
The Referees will be announced soon by RIBSA.
