Day three here in Prague at the 2015 EBSA European Snooker Championship was another day of good results for the Republic of Ireland players. First in today were the Irish master players when Keith Sheldreck won 3 frames to nil against Tomáš Náhlík from the Czech Republic.
That was followed with a good display from Alen Matic when he outclassed Dragan Roša from Croatia 3 frames to nil. Tom O Driscoll went in next against Ivan Svehla from Croatia and despite losing the first frame the Irish man won the next three for an easy 3-1 win.
Ladies Event
Michelle French had the day off so it was all down to Ronda Sheldreck when she faced Anastasija Singurindi from Russia. It was the Russian who came out a 3 frames to nil but Ronda fought hard and lost the first frame on the black and second on the colours.
Men Event
Brendan O Donoghue had another win today when he beat Erik Dullerud from Norway 4 frames to nil with a top break of 56.
Greg Casey played Daniel Mily from the Czech Republic and the Cork man went 3 nil up and looked to make in a 4 nil win, only for his opponent to come back to level 3-3. Greg then played solid to win the decider and stay unbeaten in the event.
