Irishmen Michael Judge and Robert Murphy won the 2015 EBSA European Snooker Team Championships here in Malta tonight when they beat the Malta team of Tony Drago and Brian Chini 5 frames to 3 in an exciting final live on Malta TV.
Michael Judge lost the opening frame to Drago, Robert levelled the match. The home team won the Doubles frame to go 2-1 up. Back came Robert to levelled the match at 2-2 when he beat Drago. Michael then beat Chini to go 3 frames to 2 up. The Irish pair then won the doubles frame to go 4-2 up. Drago then beat Mick to close the gap to 3-4 but it was Robert who turned on the style to win his frame and the match 5 frames to 3 to delight all the crowd.

I would like to thank all the Irish Team for playing so good in the event and as National Coach i am so proud of them all. Robert and Michael were awesome tonight to play under that kind of pressure and it was a pleasure being part of it. I know everyone in Ireland are so happy for them both and thanks also to everyone in Ireland for sending messages to Robert and Michael as it helped to motivate them to win this title.
