Ireland have only player left in the 2014 World IBSF Men Snooker Championships here in Bangalore. Michael Judge won his match 4 frames to nil but Robert Murphy and Jason Devaney were beaten. Michael Judge will now play Amir Sarhosh from Iran tomorrow.
First up was Robert Murphy when he played Garreth Allen from Wales. Allen went 3-0 up with a string of breaks only to see Murphy come back to 3-2 and Robert was clearing up to make it 3-3 only to see the final black stay on the pocket and lose 2-4.
Michael Judge played Mohsen Bukshaisha from Qatar and the former pro showed his class to win the match 4-0. Jason Devaney played Amir Sarkhosh from Iran and he also went 3-0 down but he fought back and had chances to level at 3-3 but the Iran player stole the frame and match for a 4-2 win.
