Day 3 of the 2014 World IBSF Snooker Championships here in Bangalore, India had wins for Robert Murphy, Keith Sheldrick and Josh Boileau but Jason Devaney lost in the decider. Michael Judge , Anthony Bonnar and Stephen Walsh had the day off and Tom O Driscoll got a walk over.
First up was Keith Sheldrick when he played good match-play snooker to beat Alexander Trinkl from Austria 3 frames to nil. Next up was his fellow QClub Wicklow team mate Robert Murphy and Robert got back to winning ways when he beat Tetsuya Kuwata from Japan 4 frames to nil.
Jason Devaney played good snooker to go 3 up against Siyavosh Mozayani from Iran but the Iranian fought back to win 4 frames to 3. Last up was young Josh Boileau and the Newbridge CYMS man played his best game so far when he beat Sahil Nayyar from India 4 frames to nil.
Tomorrow will be another long day for the Irish players and as the National Coach I am very proud of the way they are training and playing so far in this Championship. Action starts at 10am local time and there is still no internet available in the venue but you can follow all the action on www.ibsf.info
