Our senior team of Michael Judge, Robert Murphy, Rodney Goggins and Keith Sheldrick drew 6-6 with a strong Wales B tonight on Day one of the 2014 Home Internationals in the Northern Snooker Centre in Leeds.
The lads were 6 frames to 2 down before Murphy, Judge and Goggins pulled us back into the game and the match went to Keith’s match. The Dubliner was superb in the final frame to force the match to end in a tie at 6-6.
Earlier this morning Ireland beat Wales A 8 frames to 4 in a fantastic performance. All matches involve our four players playing three frames each in a total of 12 frame match.
Mick Judge lost 1-2 with top breaks of 54 and 61c
Robert Murphy won 2-1 with top break of 59
Rodney Goggins won 2-1 with a top break of 63
Keith Sheldreck lost 1-2
