A hero’s welcome greeted Mark Tuite in Dublin Airport on Thursday night when the RIBSA Secretary Tony Thorpe and RIBSA Treasurer Ger Murray welcomed home the new European Masters Champion back to Ireland.
Tuite played great snooker in Sofia Bulgaria in winning the title 6 frames to 5 against Alain Vandersteen from Belgium. The Irishman had produced some memorable performances especially in knockout stages where he defeated former pro player Wayne Brown, Rune Kampe and especially the former welsh professional player Darren Morgan who was the defending Champion in the semi final.
