Day three of the 2014 EBSA Snooker Championships was a rest day for Alen Matic, Tom O Driscoll, Rodney Goggins and Josh Boileau, but Irish players Tom Gleeson Jason Devaney and Mark Tuite had matches here in the Ramada Hotel in Bulgaria.
Tom Gleeson was beaten by Misja Van Vonderen from the Netherlands 3 frames to 2 despite a top break of 54 but Gleeson the Thurles Postman is up for the fight now against Israel tomorrow to get back to winning ways. Mark Tuite from Killarney had his third straight victory and is look great with a 3 frames to nil victory over Mindaugas Maisiejus from Lithuania.
Jason Devaney from Ballina finished the day off on a good note for the Irish with a 4 frames to nil win over Mihail Angelov from Bulgaria with top breaks of 61 and 59.
