Charlie Sweeney from Newbridge CYMS won the final of the RIBSA Irish Under 16 Snooker Championships with a fantastic display of snooker to beat 13 year old Fergal Quinn 4 frames to nil. Charlie had a top break of 66 this morning in the Ivy Rooms Snooker in Carlow.
This season Charlie finished Number 1 on the rankings and he now wins his first National title. This season is not yet over as he will now play Joh Boileau in the Under 19 final later today at 2pm. This year live streaming is available to watch the final.
Charlie also won the high break prize, Well done Charlie !!!
Finally Fergal Quinn has had a great season and he will be playing in the Under 14 final later today and is hoping to retain his title he won last year.
