Rodney Goggins from the 147 Club in Wexford won the RIBSA Senior Billiards 150 up Championships today in the Ivy Rooms Snooker in Carlow. Rodney beat Aidan Murray 3 frames to 2 earlier in the Semi Final and beat Irish Number 1 Wayne Doyle from the Q Club Wicklow in the final 4 frames to nil.
The match was best of 7 frames of 150 up and the Referee Ger Murray did a superb job in the final.
This weekend Rodney made it a fantastic double as he also won the National Long format Billiards title yesterday plus he also reached the Semi Finals of the Senior Snooker.
