The Q Club Wicklow team retained the Leinster Club Snooker Championship Cup in the Ivy Rooms Carlow when they defeated Kilkenny in a stunning display.
Michael Judge, Wayne Doyle, Keith Sheldrick, Robert Murphy and Jason Watson were awesome all weekend with a superb display to win the 2014 title.
A big well done to the Kilkenny side on reaching the final and they had some outstanding wins along the way to the final and they will go to Kilarney with high confidence.
The standard of snooker in the event was excellent over the weekend with all the Clubs wanting to qualify for the All Irelands in Killarney which included a fantastic 145 break by Michael Judge.
Well done to all the teams and good luck to the 8 Clubs in the All Ireland ” A ” and ”B ” Championships.
