Richie Flynn from Waterford played superb snooker today when he won the third RIBSA National Open Handicap event of the season in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow.
In the final Richie beat local player Colvin O Brien 3 frames to 1 in an exciting final. This was the third event of the season and again it was a major success with so many high quality matches.
In the Semi Finals Richie beat Benny O Brien from Kilkenny 3-1 and Colvin beat Andrew Yeates from Navan 3 frames to 2 in a thriller with the Carlow man coming out on top. The Highest Break went to Benny O Brien with a fantastic 92 Break.
The next RIBSA Open Handicap event is scheduled for the 18th January 2014.
