Daniel O’Regan from the Crucible SC in Cork continued his great season when he won the first National Intermediate Snooker Ranking Event No.1 in the Ivy Rooms SC in Carlow today. In the Final Daniel beat Martin Thorpe from Newbridge CYMS 3 frames to1in a superb final.
Daniel had wins against Paul Ludden 3-0; Benny O’Brien 3-2; Robert Donohoe 3-0; Cathal Gordon 3-1 and Ger Kelly 3-0. Stephen Reddington won the high break prize with 97.
