Team England comprises of Anthony Harris and Robert Marshall lifted the 2013 IBSF World Team Snooker (Masters) trophy in the Ivy Rooms yesterday in front of a packed arena.
In the final they played against team Belgium (Mario Van Herk and Alain Vandersteen) who earlier beat Scotland. England played very good to win the match 5-Nil.
During the final match, Anthony Harris produced a break of 42 in first frame whereas Robert made 51 and 50 in third and fifth frame.
From Belgium, Alain gave some fight in second frame where he made total 52 points against 71 of Robert but all other frames remained one sided. With that Belgium settled with silver medal and team Scotland and our Irish Team of Ireland3 Alan Cusack and Ger Delaney shared joint bronze which was one of the best performances by any Irish team of player in these Championships.
