East Region U 14 And U 19 Event 1

Last Sunday the first event of the new nationwide U 14 and U 19 East Region took place in CrossGuns In Dublin. A total of twelve players took part in the U 19 whilst 4 made up the U 14. Winners on the day were JJ Monaghan from the Royal Navan and Andrew Doherty from Terenure CYMS who won the U 14 and U 19 respectively. 13 year old Dylan O’Connell of CrossGuns reached both finals but fell short on each occasion coming up against two players playing at the top of their game. Andrew Doherty however was the star of the day only dropping one frame on his way to winning the U 19 event. Again I would like to thank all the players for entering the tournament and playing the game in a fantastic spirit. It was my pleasure to welcome the players and their parents and friends to CrossGuns and i look forward to welcoming you all back again soon for the next event in the series.
