The first Under 16 and Under 21 Nationwide ranking events of the season was held in Douglas Snooker Club in Cork . It was Ryan Cronin and Aaron Tobin who reached the U21 final with Aaron winning it by the score of 3-1. Shane Hourihan and Noel Landers reached the final of the U16 with Noel Landers coming out the winner by 3 frames to 1.
A great day of snooker was held with 12 entries in the U16 event and 25 entries in U21event.
