The Draw has been made for the World Games in Cali in Colombia for Irishman Brendan O Donoghue where he will face Pro player Joe Perry from the UK in the first round.
The event will be held from the 25th – 30th of July and everyone within Irish Snooker would like to wish Brendan good luck in the event.
The Dress-Code for all Athletes
All male athletes must wear single colored long sleeve shirts, waist-coats, bowties, dark trousers and dark shoes.
All female athletes must wear full length dark trousers or dark skirts no shorter than the kneecap. Single Colored Shirts or Blouses with sleeves no shorter than the elbow and waistcoats must be worn. Ladies to wear dark colored Dress Shoes that can be open or closed toe shoes.
No sports style shoes, sandals, boots will be allowed for either the men or ladies. National logos and names of athletes are permitted to be worn, subject to them being not exceeding 150mm (5”) in diameter or square.
Each athlete will present himself 10 minutes before the start of his match to the Tournament Director in order to officially report his presence and to ensure that the player complies with the correct Dress Code. Committing an offence against the dress-code can lead to expulsion out of the competition.
If the venue conditions are considered as beyond normal acceptable standards by the Tournament Director, certain dress code requirements may be waived at the discretion of the Tournament Director after consultation with the Tournament Committee.
Dress-wear for the“ Victory Ceremony ” shall be in same competition outfits as aforesaid.
Sponsored logos can be worn by players but they shall not be obtrusively revealing.
