The Republic of Ireland Master players of Mark Tuite, Anthony Bonnar, Frank Sarsfield and Nigel Power again played great snooker to win their second straight win to lead their groups here in Poland for the 2013 European Snooker Championships.
Mark Tuite had breaks of 45, 46 and 65 in a superb win over Richard Kornberger from Austria while Frank Sarsfield beat Walden Matuskiewicz from Poland 3 frames to nil with good match snooker.
Anthony Bonnar was in great form knocking in breaks of 41 and 71 in a 3 frames to nil victory over Vgal Pagliari from Israel. Finishing off the day was Nigel Power with a 3 frames to one victory over Matgorzata Sikorska from Poland.
As National Coach I am very proud of all the players as they are all playing great and scoring very good in the balls. Our Seniors all won as well on Day 2 to make it played 14 matches with 14 wins which is incredible as the standard here in Poland is so high.
