Aidan Murray will meet Larry Drennan in the final of round 5 of the senior billiards tour at Newbridge CYMS. Aidan over came Timmy Murphy from Cork AOH in the first semi final by a score of 400 – 268. The other Semi final proved to be a much tighter affair with Wayne Doyle taking the early initiative with breaks of 51, 54 and 56.
However, Larry fought his way back into the match with a break of 79. After both players had chances to win Larry eventually got home by 400 – 395. If the final is as exciting we are in for a treat.
