Last Thursday evening on the eve of the Munster Snooker Club Championships there was a special individual memorial tournament in Memory of the late Pauline Greer and the Late Liam O’Connor. The Tournament final will be played at the Gleneagle Hotel tonight between Mark Tuite from the Cue Club Killarney and John Torpey from the New Vic team from Limerick.
The two players were joined by members of the Greer Family, Arthur, Chris and John Greer. Lovely to have the Greers back in Killarney, they are one of the most respected families in the game. The final itself had people on the edge of their seats through out and eventually it was John Torpey who came out on top, by three frames to one.
