Liam Byrne from Edenderry won to-day Intermediate Billiards Event played at the Ivy Rooms in Carlow. In the first round Liam played John Kehoe from Wexford beating him 238-228. He then beat Corkman Lloyd Myers 431-370.
His final opponent was Kevin Christie who beat Brendan Devin 396-272 and Young Edenderry player Mark Nolan 379-358. The final saw Liam emerging the victor over Christie with a score line of 427-347.
