Jason Devaney and Aaron Moyles were the victors in the Northwest Snooker Club at the weekend. Ex-Irish Senior Champion Devaney ran away with the Under-21 event dropping only one frame in his group whilst winning all of his four matches. Moyles came third on the day in the Under-21’s but did however take the Under-19 section winning both of his group game matches.
With a small entry in the Northwest the event was decided by the group results and both youngsters should do well in the Q School junior qualifying later in the season as both aim to capture on of the coveted spots for the World Under-21’s which will be held in Carlow next August.
