The Republic Of Ireland Under 19 Team had a mix day of results today on Day one of the Home Internationals in Pontins North Wales when they beat tournament favourites England 7 frames to 5 in the morning.
In the Afternoon the Irish team of David Cassidy, Ryan Cronin, Josh Boileau and Chris Cooney lost to Scotland 7 frames to 5.
Team coach PJ Nolan was delighted with the win over England and they were unlucky in the Scottish match but the players are giving 100% concentration and commitment.
Tomorrow they will face Wales at 10am and England B at 2pm
