Ryan Cronin played a great match today to qualify for the knock outs in his first ever world championships at the World Under 21 Snooker Championship which is being held in the city of Wuxi in the Republic Of China from the 14th – 22nd Of July.
Ryan beat Walid Salem from Egypt 4 frames to 1 in a great match after losing a black ball first frame. Team coach PJ Nolan is delighted to see Ryan playing with so much confidence winning four out of six matches. PJ said Ryan was very determinant to play his best snooker today to Qualify from his group and all eyes will be on the draw which is being made later today.
More great news for Cork snooker is that his Crucible club mate David Cassidy will join him in the last 32 after winning six out of seven group matches in qualifying for the knock out rounds which start tomorrow.
