Rodney Goggins from the 147 Snooker Club in Wexford won the RIBSA Senior ranking event No.6 in the Ivy Rooms Snooker Club in Carlow on Sunday. In the final Brendan beat Brendan O Donoghue from Nenagh 5 frames to 1 in an exciting final.

In the Semi finals Rodney beat Joe Delaney from Celbridge 4-3 and Brendan beat Johnny Williams from Maynooth SC 4 frames to 2. Joe Delaney won the highest break prize with a superb 129 break and the other high breaks were 127 by Rodney Goggins, 124 by Vincent Muldoon and 111 by Niglel Power.
