Last week PJ Nolan RIBSA National Coach and Work Snooker Coach held a successful training workshop in New Delhi India which was organised by www.cuesoprtsindia.com.
The workshop was held from 2nd – 10th of January 2012 and featured a number of players of various standards from all across India. Vivek Pathak Chairman of Cue Sports India was delighted with the feedback from the players and thanked PJ for returning to India. He also announced that Cue Sports India hope to hold another workshop June 2012.
The Workshop was sponsored by Wiraka Snooker Supplies and Hainsworth Cloth. PJ worked on videoing the players and fine tuning their playing technique using new laser technology which indentifies alignment and develops the correct address position.
Each player got a cd of his Academy training books and manuals to work on until the next workshop. One of the all time greats Geet Sethi who won the world billiards championship eight times travelled to New Delhi to view how PJ conducted the training course and he was very impressed with the quality of coaching and training material the players received.
PJ said it was great to return to coach in India and it is a big honour to develop some of the future stars of the game. Coaching is now becoming more popular in India. My Academy players Aditya Mehta and Lucky Vatnani now competing on the WSA main tour and it is given all the Indian players the belief to train hard to follow in their footsteps.
