Andrew Doherty won the first RIBSA under 16 ranking event in Celbridge Snooker Club today. The two top seeds Ross Doyle and Andrew reached the final but it was Andrew who was too sharp in the final and won the title 3 frames to nil.
The highest break prize went to Ross Doyle with a superb 51 break.
In the Q-Finals Ross Doyle beat Mark Fitzpatrick from Newbridge CYMS, Chris Duffy beat Conor Harkin from Northwest SC, Stephen Bateman beat Eamon Harkin from Northwest SC, Andrew Doherty beat Shane Bates from 147 Wexford.
In the Semi Finals Ross Doyle beat Chris Duffy with breaks of 51, 49, 30 and 31 and Stephen Bateman beat Andrew Doherty in the other semi.
