Breakers Pool & Snooker Club in St Michaels Place in Gorey Town Co. Wexford was the next stop for PJ Nolan on his trip around the clubs in Ireland.
Club Owners Murt Rossiter and Sandra Bryan met with our National Coach and they showed him around their club which is the official venue this year for the trials for the Irish Pool Association International Team. It is also the main training venue for the Wexford Pool Team. The snooker club contains 4 Snooker tables, 7 Match Pool Tables and 1 American Pool Table. Table Tennis tables and Dartboards are also available.
Sandra is herself the Irish number 1 lady pool player and the captain of the Irish pool team. She has won numerous National and International titles including the World Team Championships. Last season Sandra started to enter the RIBSA ladies snooker ranking events and she is getting closer to lifting a title with every event. Breakers Club will also be a venue for two RIBSA ladies ranking events this season.
The clubs organises monthly Snooker club league and Adults and junior pool leagues within the club.
Cues, Cases and all pool and snooker equipment is available plus refreshments. The club has an excellent web site on www.breakersgorey.com which features all the news and results from the club events which are held throughout the season.
