The RIBSA players had a very successful training day in the Ivy Rooms in Carlow on Sunday the 14th of August. Josh Boileau was in fantastic form to win the event in scoring 492 points from the six selected routines.
All the players will represent the Republic Of Ireland in the upcoming Home Internationals in Pontins from the 9th – 16th September.
Josh also made a break of 129 in his group match against Daniel Dempsey. Dylan Scully warmed up for next weeks European Open in Gloucester with a superb score of 475 to finish tied in second place with Keith Sheldrick.
National Coach PJ Nolan was impressed by the players commitment but he told the players that more improvement is needed if we are win anything in Pontins. The next training day is scheduled for Saturday 3rd and Sunday the 4th of September.
