Play got underway here at the Ivy Rooms in Carlow Ireland this morning in the IBSF World Billiards Championships quarter finals at 10am. The quarter finals were played over a three hour period and no surprises so far in the Championships as Mike Russell and Matthew progressed easily through to the Semi Finals. World number

The final of thw World Billiards Championship ( Time Format ) will be now played over 2 sessions of two and half hour Sessions. The first session will start at 11.00am – 1.30pm and the second session will resume at 2.30 – 5pm. The closing ceremony will be held in the George Bernard
