The Knock out last 32 rounds started this morning at the World Under 21 Snooker Championships here in Montreal Canada.
First up Greg Casey played Andreas Ploner from Austria and the cork man opened a 4 nil lead with the help of a superb 108 break in frame 3.
Back came Ploner to win the next three frames before Greg won the next to win the match 5 frames to 3.
Jason Devaney was knocked out of the championship today when he lost 5 frames to 3 to Shachar Ruberg from Israel.
Devaney was 3 – 1 down before fighting back to level at 3-3 but the young Israel player won the next two frames for a memorable win.
Vincent Muldoon cruised into the last 16 with a 5-1 victory over Jurian Heusdens from Belgium with a string of breaks.
The Galway man is fully focused and taking one match at a time.
Finally David Cassidy had a great win over Khalid Al Kamil from UAE 5 frames 2 to book his last 16 place for the first time.
