Ireland’s Under-14’s and Under-16’s captured the North South Challenge on Sunday the 3rd of July after a superb display against their Northern Ireland counterparts. They might have been a little deflated after losing out to Wales the day before in the Celtic Challenge but Ireland’s youngsters certainly made up for it with a fine display against the North.
They ran out convincing 74-22 winners with the likes of Josh Boileau showing his class once again winning all of his four matches as did young Lee Walsh from Youghal. It was Dylan Carey who took the high break this time round with a superb 63 break with several of the Irish Juniors knocking in sizeable breaks on the day.
